Bar'd h22 in INtegra/civic - owners
i wanna bar my jdm h22a in my 95 integra rs db7
its a jdm h22a. type S cams, supertech valve train. CP high Comp Pistons and rings.6 puck clutch, heavy duty pressure plate. lighten flywheel. 3 inch Intake. 62mm Type S throttle body. chipped p28
i have a auto p13 ecu im converting to 5spd - soldering mod -not used
h22 harness- not using but have.
resistor box for fuel injectors- not hooked up but have
charcoal canister-not hooked up but have
vacuum lines- not hooked up but have
egr valve - not hooked up but i have it.
air boost valve
prelude injectors - not using but have them
basically everything to make it California Smog legal.
just a couple questions though
1- does the air boost valve need to be there and hooked up properly ? or a jdm block off plate will do ?
2- will i need to use my resistor box ? right now im running a B series harness modified with NO resistor box.. non prelude injectors
3-im using a h22 type S throttle body obd2 with map sensor on the throttle body. do i have to mount the map sensor and purge solenoid back on the firewall and runn vacuum lines again ?
4- do i need to hook up the intake control diagram and solenoid valve ?
5- do i need to hook up the constant/EGR vacuum control valve?
6- is there anything else i need to do ? to know ?. i have a cat welded on my h22 custom exhaust piping. DC headers carb legal.. I know i need the OEM intake tubing and air box as well.. or will a Carb Legal CAI or SRI work?
7- will the auto p13 converted to 5spd p13 work ? the serial number will be for automatic.. will that matter ?.. * just wondering *
Thanks guys.

question 1. Yes, that valve needs to be hooked up properly.
question 2. what injectors are you running?
question 3. I believe you will have to run the map sensor on the firewall. I used the original usdm h22 TB with firewall mount MAP sensor.
question 4. If you get an AEM intake for the 92-96 prelude you don't need the intake control diaphragm and resonator. It's junk anyway.
question 6. A 92-96 prelude intake will work fine.
question 7. The ecu must have the correct serial number for the motor. And the CA ecu has a different serial compared to other states.
PM me if you have more questions. I Bar'd my hatch a few months ago.

Re: Bar'd h22 in INtegra/civic - owners
quick question :
my jdm h22a has the egr mounted on the intake manifold..its not plugged in * sensor wise or vacuum wise *
will it effect my motor at all ?
does a stock p13 ecu.. throw a CEL for EGR ?
Just wondering...
