Default bad idle on b18c5

Just put my B18c5 into my 93 cx. I am running the stock cx computer for a few days till the shop i am gettin my P28 from opens back up. The motor will not idle correctly. It surges up and down. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this setup? Is it most likely because it is the wrong computer for the motor or a wiring error. I used the B18c5 harness so it basically plugged in so i doubt there is any problem with the wiring. Any help appreciated.

it's most likely because you're using the p05 (cx) ecu...

have you checked all your vacuum lines, and make sure all vacuum nipples on the intake manifold are sealed or going somewhere?

also make sure there is no leaks near that throttle body gasket...

also make sure your MAP sensor is plugged in and working properly.
