Default BACK to the honda!

ok im sry if this has already been posted but im just returning ot the honda world again after being gone for a while. What im wondering is i want to swap my motor on my 95 civc hatchback DX. Ive been lookin around and would like to get opinions on what ot do. Im lookin at spending like 4000 total on everything form start to finish. The motors im looking at are the B16 which i like for the high rpms and vtec along with lots of power for displacement also price and easy of installation since i will be doing all the labor myself. Also i have considered the B18 but feel its going to cost me more then 4000 for install. The last of them is the H22 which i have always liked alot but am scared ot do it for numorous reasons such as price, difficulty of installation, and axle problems. So what do you think? can i make a b16 just as good as a stock h22 replacing cams, gears, exhaust, intake ,ecu and whaytever else i can install while staying under 4000? what can i do to make it the same as a h22 as far as hp for under 4000? thanks and sry for all the questions im clueless on this im a first time swapper! mike

Hi I am swapping in a jdm 16 into my 97 ek. Ive spent around 2600 so far though I probably could have done it for a bit less. I got the block for 2k this included just about everything, trans, wire harness, intake, exhaust, etc... Id guess that with 4k you could probably get a jdm block, rebuild it, and pump it up a bit. I don't know if you would hit H22 numbers but you'd definitly have a nice motor.
