b20z swap into 5G hatch [have b18c1 already]
Hey Guys I have a 94 VX hatch...It has a GSR motor in there now, I was thinking about purchasing a b20z longblock to drop it for awhile and rebuilding the b18c1 over time.
I was wondering what can I re-use from my gsr swap to the b20z swap...I was gonna use the tranny, but is..
shift linkage [gsr]
axles [gsr]
compatible with the b20z..
Any other parts I need to purchase with a longblock to make the swap work in my hatch, and btw. I was gonna use the p75 ECU..

Everything will work just fine - basically what I had in my EG hatch before I slapped on a turbo kit (GSR tranny, GSR injectors, etc), but you'll need to use the LS distributor if you want it to bolt on properly and not leak oil from there. If you're going to use the LS ECU, then everything else will work and bolt/plug right in. A couple of more tips..... use the GSR OBD-1 injectors, and you'll need to change the timing belt engine cast iron mount bracket since the B20Z bracket is setup for an EK chassis. Just swap the bracket off of your B18C block and use the GSR driver side mount on it and you'll be fine. All other mounts and brackets, axles and linkage, reuse the existing GSR stuff.

why do I need to swap GSR injectors...is there any purpose. I just plan on leaving the stock except for exhaust + header..
