Default b20vtec on ls tranny?

okay, so plz tell me if this will work. I can only afford an ls swap right now, so if I swap that in, and next summer, buy a b20vtec long block, will it bolt right on? I know this motors got alot of torque so I wont need a shorter tranny (gsr/itr).

1.what parts from the b18b could I reuse besides the tranny and axles?

2.will I have to lift the whole engine/tranny out of the car? or just swap the long block w/ everything else in the car.

3.what else will I need besides the ls swap and the b20 long block?

The LS Tranny will bolt right on the B20.

Ya gotta think though. Take one Mount off and the Tranny and head can come off with the block still in the car. So You can't really leave those two on and replace the block. Way easier to take the whole think off. Rent an engine hoist.

if you are going to stay n/a with the b20vtec then yes you will want a shorter geared tranny than the ls

1. just about everything except you will need to modify the dist to fit the vtec head

2. it will be a WHOLE lot easier to lift everything out at once and assemble outside the cr

3. read through these http://www.crvtec.com/ http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/b20vtec/b20vtec.html

have you considered turboing the ls
