Default B20vtec - ITR HEAD ISSUES WITH STOCK B20 PISTONS

hey guys just wondering if i could use a B18C5 head on a stock B20Z bottom+arp stuff ?
i herd you will need to fly cut into your b20 pistons for safety measures with ITR cams and valve springs? is this true? can anyone confirm this?
If i retain rev limit to 8500rpm? is it still an issue
