Default B20B swap ECU question

Im in the process of swapping a B20B (96-98) into my 2000 integra (DC4). Can I use my stock P75 ECU? I've heard that it may run lean running the stock ECU. I need the motor to be reliable and run smoothly.

Now, I've heard that I should use a chipped P28 along with a harness.

Any suggestions on what route I should take?

Thanks,

i have done a few obd1 b20 swaps in tegs, and they ran fine na with the stock ecu.

are you doing a jdm b20? if so, you will need a ckf sensor to run the b20 off of the stock ecm

i used a p75 as well for years w/out a problem. you could just get it chipped too for your setup say from phearable which would be a lot better short of getting it fully tuned.

not to thread jack, but i just bought a 93 civic w/ a b20 vtec minus the vtec... the car is ready, i wired it up tonight, but vtec isn't engaging. 2 questions, will the car run with a standard p28 ecu or does it have to be chipped for the car to even run? and the only 2 wires that HAVE to be hooked up are the 2 that go back to the ecu correct?
