Default B20b (in crv) won't stop revving , has LS intake manifold

I just swapped an LS intake manifold onto my B20b, it is in the CRV still. When I turn the key over, its jump twice quickly, and then starts revving, without my foot on the pedal. Its just keeps going, I shut it off before it hits redline. I tried it with the throttlecable totally unhooked, and it still did it. Any ideas? All the senors were swapped over from the B20b manifold to the LS before installation.

sounds like you have a vaccum leak. make sure the gaskets are sealed tight and check you hoses. try the gap between the tb and manifold.

make sure your pcv valve is all hooked up correctly(goes from valve cover to intake manifold, and all hoses are connected properly. and of course make sure that the butterfly in the trottle body is shut all the way. any body else have any suggestions? good luck

Actually my dads CRV has done this before. Like, when I start it up cold and pull out of the parking lot here it likes to rev and sit in the like 2.5k RPM range when my foots off the gas and I should be down back to idle rev's - its done it a few times now, whens the last time you had your oil changed? My dads is notrious for going through oil and turning it into sludge...

The PVC valve is in right, the TB is closed, the only hose not hooked righ tnow is the EVAP purge, the oil was changed about 1300 miles ago. The gaskets on the TBto Manifold, and the manifold to head are new. I have no clue whats going on, if I shut it off quickly, it will keeping revin gitl something breaks, I shut it off before 7k everytime, its revs like your flooring it.

All hoses but the EVAP purge are hooked up.

Where did you hook the TB dashpot vac. line? Is it in the plastic intake tube before the TB or hooked up to the manifold/TB somewhere?
I believe all B series TB dashpots go to the plastic intake tube where the vac. signal is MUCH weaker. Hooking it up anywhere that gets vac. after the TB is too strong and it pulls the throttle blade open.

You have a vac. anomoly somewhere.

well mine would periodically rev up to 3k or so and hold there at idle at first. But i just corrected itself. I figured some vacuum line or gasket finally sealed up from the heat and the leak (i assume) stopped.

Is there a problem with the connection of the throttle cable. I do know that it connects differently on the CRV from the Integra. Maybe this is a result of trying to rig it up with the CRV cable on the Integra manifold.

I had a CRX that had a bad IACV and it would do the same thing, once I replaced the IACV problem was solved....
just my 2 cents on the topic...

Take care.

I tried also without the throttle cable hooked up, and it still did it.

The IVAC came right off the b20 manifold, to the ls manifold, and them back on the engine, but I will try that, and I will try the hand over the TB idea too.
