B20/VTEC vs GSR with LS Crank
So I'm kind of having problems making a decision between these two options, as of now I have a healthy running LS engine, and I'm building another motor to swap out, both engines are going to get forged Rods, and Pistons, ARP Rod Bolts, Balanced Crank Shaft, and other stuff.
I'm running a small Precision Turbo (3633?) and I want to have at least 300 WHP and close to 290 LB/FT (probably wont get close) but anyways out of the 2 options which will have the most bang for buck?
I believe its the B20/VTEC, but I'm probably not considering other things. Only two things that really matter Fast, and Reliablility
I have the a GSR Block with a spun bearing, Main or Rod bearing I don't know.
Thanks

equal whp and torque isn't happening.
the b20 will give you more torque than the other due to being an 84mm block. i would pull the gsr block apart to see if it is reusable.

So if the block is usable use it and if not go b20?
How much of a performance difference will I see?

Re: B20/VTEC vs GSR with LS Crank
my car made 480whp/325torque with an LS crank and 81.5mm. so you're looking at probably 400whp to get 300tq from an 89mm stroke and ~81mm bore.
