b20 vs b18b, swap... uncomplete/complete....??
my mind is set on getting a b18b1 or b20b motor.....and i did a search on this and couldn't find exactly! what my question is, so i figured i'd ask...
Now I am planning on getting the b18b1 from Hmotorsonline.com and it is the full complete swap everything i need basically from what i was told.
I can also get the b20 Long block from HMO.com, my question is... i want more torque so i was wanting to go with the b20b, but how hard is it to get all the parts i need for the b20b long block, to make it work in my EJ, as well as which ECU would be best to run with that...
I like the b18b1, and i know with some little work acutally i could be pulling the same stock trq. out of the b18b1 as the b20b?
So which do u guys think would be best to do as in moneywise, in the long run, best performance, longtivity, etc. etc....
Thanx guys.
