yea basiclly iam going to be the first of many people to tell you this. get a b17a crankshaft. it gives you a perfect r/s ratio. also you will still retain 1.8 liter performace without the bad(not to bad) r/s ratio. and yes this is a raper set-up.

I have heard you must de-stroke the 20 to have reliable turbo performance...

Re: B20 turbo?? (X2BOARD)
So would it make more sense then to just go with a 1.8 Ls (cheaper) Go with like 84 or85 mm pistons, sleaved, and than destroke it with a 1.7 crank? Thanks for the info.

if you have the money for the sleeves. i would do that. and iam pretty sure the r/s is 1.75 or 6. with the b17a crank.

Re: B20 turbo?? (smp534)
The B20 is just a B18 bored to 84 correct? Or did honda do some reconfiguration? I want to go with like 84.5 0r 85.mm. Now I know that you should run it with the 1.7 crank. My concern is the strength in the block.Which is going to hold up a sleeved B20 or a B18 bored, and then sleeved. Or am i making any sense??Thanks for the info guys!!
