B20 swap low idle issue (obd2b 2000 Civic)
Hey all,
First off, yes I've searched and searched but I'm at my wits end and would love it if anyone could chime in and help. I did this whole swap myself earlier this year and have spent all summer trying to get it running right. The swap initially idled very high (~3k) and then I sourced a major vacuum leak and now the idle will start at 1k, drop to about 800 and then slowly drop further and sometimes dies. It also sounds like ****. Any throttle input is met with a delayed reaction and it sounds like its maybe not firing on all 4. No check engine lights. PLEASE SEE VIDEOS BELOW
Details of the car:
2000 Civic DX manual hatch
JDM B20 motor (2000 high comp)
chipped P28 ECU with adaptor harness (and chip for B20)
modified harness from 99 DX manual (IACV 2 wire & CFK bypass trick)
Here's what've I done/tried so far:
swapped ECUs
verified MAP is working correctly
verified TPS is working correctly
swapped a new IACV
verified throttle cable is adjusted correctly
verified no vacuum leaks
verified spark on all four
verified timing belt is set correctly
verified timing is set correctly
new spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor
new injectors
verified fuel pressure is correct
Thats it, I'm all out of ideas and I want so badly to drive this pos! Any help is very appreciated, thanks!
^^^no throttle input on both videos

Re: B20 swap low idle issue (obd2b 2000 Civic)
FINALLY fixed this issue with different injectors. The ones I bought on ebay were sold as reman'd integra ones but I guess they must've been from a civic or accord(?)
Hopefully someone who deals with this mess like I did sees this thread and it helps.
