b20 in an ek...why does the DX ecu work better than the LS??
i dropped a b20z in my 98 dx hatch recently and everything came together nicely but the wiring. i know now that i should have used a different harness but unfortunately i used the stock dx wiring. i am also still using the obd2 dx ecu becuase the obd2 LS ecu runs terrible. the engine seems to surge forward and bog down then surge forward with that ecu (real inconsistent). i've modified the wiring a little to plug in the temp sensor on the intake manifold and plug up the IACV.
the only sensors not plugged in are the charcoal canister and the 2nd O2 sensor on the DX harness.
will moving the iacv ground wire (a14 to a12) allow for use of the LS ecu?
is running the dx ecu a bad idea on the 2.0?
thanks in advance!

It may run better, but its got to be running lean unless you have a FPR or somethig to use to dump some more fuel in there. the DX fuel map was not made for a 2.0.
tune it!

Move that icav wiring and run the ls ecu. Best way to go. Its 2 wires instead of 3 wires on the B20 motor. Fix that and youre good to go.

i used a connector from an integra harness to plug the iacv up using the 2 wires instead of 3 from the DX connector. i read on hybrid honda that the a14 to a12 wire near the ecu needed to be moved, but there is already a wire in a12. do i switch the wires or leave the previously plugged in a12 out?
i tried swapping the wires and blew the fuse controlling the whole fuel system. either i had the wrong wires or that isn't what needs to be done......i wanted to make sure before i tried again.
