I have been doing some research for a b20 swap on my 97 lxi.
Location is middle east.
Stock engine is a D15Z4, OBD0.
This is not USA so everything here is a lot different.
All other options for engine swap is either beyond my capability or is too expensive to import the parts.( I will do all the work plus a few hands for heavy lifting)
I just want a little extra hp compared to the stock engine.
B20 from the CRV is plentiful but they all come in auto trans.
I can ge tthe engine and tranny from a japanese importer for around 1000 US$ including harness and ecu.The main problem im having is which axles will fit the ek b20 auto trans. I would definitely prefer manual but its really hard to find one. So I may stick with the auto trans till i get my hands on a 5 speed M/T.All i have found were axles for the M/T trans. I know the tegs have auto trans but honda parts catalogue options dont list them or maybe im not too good with the keyboard. Tried matching part numbers for accords but im not lucky with them also. In short, locally available parts are for civic, crv, and accords.

Save me some time and maybe give me a little spoon.
