b20/b18a ?'s -please help answer few ?'s
ok, i have a b18a from a 92' integra in my civic..it recently burnt a piston ring and i have to replace the block , but i found a 96' jdm b20 locally...but its missing a few parts (itn mani, dist, flywheel, throttle body, fuel rail, injectors)...my ? is will all those parts i just listed fit from my 92' ls motor? or willi have to buy b20 stuff....arent b20/b18a-b basically the same thing?? anyways any info would be appreciated...

Yes it will fit. B20's were only made in obd2 form. You would have to switch all those parts from your obd1 ls to make it work in your car anyway. I bought a 90 integra with a b20 in it, and I had to convert it back from obd0 to obd2. As long as you stick to the ls parts, you should be ok.

I think most of those should be ok, no first hand experience though. GL getting that thing smog legal anywhere though

passing emissions should not be a problem at all in most states.
all you do is put the longblock only into the car, and then bolt your current manifolds/accessories and distributor etc to the b20. not hard at all.
