Default b18c1 swap into 2nd gen Integra

trying to help a freind out.

hes got a gsr"b18c1"

Skunk2 IM
2000 Si Pistons "PR3"
ITR Camshafts
DC 4/2/1 header
Port/polish
adjus gears.

it will be dropped in a 90 gs.

As he is non obd and with all this work done and the head shaved a bit.. hes atleast in the 11:8 compression.

Will the stock b18a injectors work or will he need to upgrade.

Also he will be running stock pr3 . is that sufficient? i'm worried he will be running lean.

Some say he needs his ecu chipped and some say he needs a FPR.

Please advise.

Yes but you also need to keep the resistor box with them.

Many people go this route to keep everything OBD0 and since he has the single stage Skunk2 manifold it'll be fine.

Some say he needs his ecu chipped and some say he needs a FPR.
There is no need to chip the PR3 ECU. A FPR will be sufficient.

When u say he needs stock resistor box, do you mean use evrything from his b18a harness along with stock injectors.

Also u mentioned he can stay with stock pr3. pr3 being a 1.6l ecu and he is now a 1.8l with 11:8 compression, u think all he will need is FPR?

i just dont want this guy's engine to blow. trying to be a good freind.

Help is appreciated.

Yes

Many people run the OBD0 setup with GSR's, ITR's, CRVTEC's and lots of other setups. I would add a FPR and tune it regardless.
