Default B18C1 into 6th Gen. Civic, transmission-side motor mount query.

My 6th gen civic is an auto and I'm putting a b18c1 (manual) into it, I read somwhere that the motor mount on the tranny side is too high to put a manual tranny in. Do I have to get that thing re-welded?
