Default b18c1 hybrid... best cams??????

hey guys, i have a 95 eg coupe (deville heh) with a gsr motor... i have a couple questions..... i want to get the new aem v2 intake, but i dont know whether to get one for a civic or a gsr... i know the intake mani sits down lower than reg bseries manifolds because of the dual runner system, but i dont know about the length or anything like that, if anyone has a aem cold air in a eg civic with a b18c1, how does it match up? I also thinking about going with a skunk 2 mani and some cams... if anyone has a similar setup, or any suggestions for cam setups, please let me know what you think, and/or dyno or 1/4 mile slips

You need a GSR AEM inake because if you get the Civic one, it's not going to have the lower bend that you need by the distributor, and the intake pipe will be sticking up and look funky in your car. The EG Civic engine bay layout/size is the exact same as a DC Integra so the GSR intake will work. As for cams, you can never go wrong with Honda OEM replacements - ala, Type R cams, and still use your existing stock valve springs & retaininers w/out having to change them out (just don't rev past 8000 all the time on the stock springs and you'll be fine - just cause you'll have better cams for higher revving doesn't mean that your motor will take the higher revving in its stock form).

YOu will probably end up getting an aftermarket intake manifold so just get one now. Get a skunk2 intake manifold and then buy a type r 3" aem intake.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get the GSR cold air intake, get the short ram one, the cold air one didnt work, or better yet get the one for the DOHC v-tec delsol.
