Default B18C1 in EF swap question

Car: 1989 Honda Civic SI
Engine: B18C1 OBD2
Transmission: YS1

I dropped the motor/tranny in yesterday. I originally was going to use the B18B I have kicking around in my garage so I bought the rywire kit for EF SI to OBD1 B18B. I ended up buying the B18C1 OBD2 swap from my work for very cheap. I have a P28 that I will be using, I'm going to chip it as soon as I get this thing running.

So I have the OBD0 to OBD1 distributor adapter, can I just cut my pigtail for the distributor off the OBD1 B18B motor and splice it up to my OBD2 distributor and plug it into the conversion harness and it will be running OBD1? I do not have an OBD1 distributor I can use, so I want to use the OBD2 GSR one.

you can use the obd2 dizzy with the p28 ecu, your car will be obd1 because of the ecu. if you want to cut and splice, get a donor obd2 harness cut the distributor plug off and soder it onto the obd0 ef harness, then you can plug your distributor into the harness. But you will still need the obd0-obd1 ecu harness add your knock sensor and vtec wires then that should be it

If you want you can just depin the plugs or you can make a conversion style adapter to go from obd1 to obd2 just would need the extra plugs. Just do a little searching and you will find the pinout for the dizzies.
