Please only give suggestions if you have done a rebuild on a b18 before and have gotten to experience what the parts are really like. I have a 96 gsr motor in my civic now. But i am in the mood for a little more power and was wondering, when you built your motor what parts did you use. I dont plan on turbo or supercharger, but id like to have something that will add a few more horses. If you could please give me some good, COST effective choices that might hopefully put the gsr closer to 200 h.p. after a full rebuild, pistons, rods, bearings, head, and pretty much anything that can be done. Also would you suggest boring it .020 or .040. Does boring it as far as it goes make it more powerful, because i have heard this before not completely sure of the truth in it. But here is what i was told by an engine builder, He said, keep your bore as small as possible because the piston is smaller and lighter and thus making it easier for it to more up and down, Less weight made sense to me but wasnt sure.
