B18C spec R wiring harness=B18C5 wiring harness???
I am swapping a B18C spec R in my 00 civic si. I need to know what wiring harness to use i have seen so many different answers to this question. I need to know exactly what will work in my car.??
Will my B16A2 harness work without modification?
Will a USDM B18C5 wiring harness work on the JDM engine?

You have to use your '00 si harness. This is the only harness that will work. Everything should plug right up but I believe you have to use a usdm vtec soleniod because the jdm one has no oil pressure switch.

A USDM B18C5 engine harness will NOT work on your car beacause it is a two piece design.
Use your USDM SI engine harness
Use your USDM SI engine harness

You MUST use a 99-00 Civic harness, no other harnesses will work with your chassis without a lot of extensive wiring. Si and EX work without much modification and is pretty much all prewired for any DOHC VTEC setup.

That's the best and easiest solution, reuse your stock Si harness. You will have to change the IAT sensor plug, other than that everything should be plug and play.

Yes it will, but not in your case.
