Both a great motors, both can make good power. K swaps tend to be pretty expensive for the power they make. Look into a H2B.
Asking for HT's opinon on this is a bad thing.

Not looking for people to convince me . Just asking for pros and cons on what would be the best for the money . A Type R would be my choice but I saw a video of a stock k20a2 can be tuned to around 235hp on stock internals . I have never seen a stock B series tuned to that much power . Ive really been leaning twords the Type R tho.

Read the faqs man. If u have the 5-7k yeah of course the k20 swap is a no brainer
ull make more power but its a lot more difficult and expensive. Bit if its just gonna be a dd a gsr or itr swap should be good enough for that. If u want more info then do some research.

go with an H series. better than a b and cheaper than a k. an h puts down a few less horsepower than the k and the h has more torque than the k. b series just rev high. plus an h will go to 8,000 alll day or if you want something with short gear ratios go H2b; all the raw power of the h and gearing of a b
