B18C into a 92 Civic CHECKLIST?
My stock transmission on a 92 civic is shot & the engine's got 130k, so rather than rebuild or replace, I'm considering a full swap to a B18C1/5.
I've done what I'd call a ton of research already (although, I'm getting a sense that it's never-ending), and I'm running into some pretty high prices on full conversion kits and even on long blocks. An ITR engine is pretty rare based on calls to about 25 local yards & shops.
At this point, I'm ready to be patient in order to save money by collecting all the parts I need from salvage yards, ebay, and other internet sites. I also think it will be more fun to customize and learn as I do the work myself.
The plan, at this point, is to go with a GSR block w/ an ITR head & transmission, assuming I can find the parts and buy them separately. To start, I'd like to keep the budget under $5k. I suppose I would go as far as I could with stock components and internals that came with these parts, but I would (eventually) like to incorporate some aftermarket internals (maybe a turbo somewhere down the road, so to speak).
I was hoping someone here could help me out by providing a complete list of all the parts I would need to do the conversion myself (I'm an amateur, but at least I've got all the tools I'll need). Ideally, I'd also appreciate notes on any areas where aftermarket/performance parts would be an option.

You can get a complete swap for EG from honda motors online for like $3500 bills.
Talk to Steve, they will include everything you need. All you have to do is call and tell them what kind of car you have.
