B18c crx hood shutting problems. Any tricks to fix?
I just put a b18c in my crx with hasport mounts. The hood doesnt shut without bowing up the drivers side. When I pop the hood i have to pull it up and the lever is very hard to pull out. Is there any tricks to fix the problem? Has anybody else had this problem?

Your problem are the mounts. Not saying that HASport mounts aren't good, but they place the motor higher, allowing for more clearance for the pulley with the radius rod. With the HCP kit, it sits slightly lower, and more towards the firewall (allowing for straight axle alignment) and will allow a B18C to clear the hood, but requires you to use a 90-91 Integra pulley, which is smaller. It's a compromise.

You can try and spin the rubber mounts that are on the corner of the hood and spin the latch pin on the hood counter clock wise so that the latch won't be to hard to release. At least this is what i did. It works.
Also you can get a dremel tool and cut out the inside of the hood so that it can clear top of motor.
