car has tokico gas shocks, skunk 2 full exhaust and coilovers, russel brake lines, drilled/slotted rotors, si cluster and momo italy ebrake steering wheel and shift ****. will soonly do a full build on it to shoot for 450whp in the end all motor

Well NO head will improve rev point. Ls or b20 blocks aren't made to spin to 8k+ that's why people blow em.
A gsr head will give you higher compression so I guess that's what you want. Stay around 11:1 and you will be ok. Google compression calculator and play around on it to get an idea on piston setup for that.

Not even $20k into that motor will see 450hp NA. Humble performance's Greengo Kswap has $30k in it and he gets 402whp on race gas. You need to step back and research and then lay a plan out and save money 1st. Most importantly STOP PIPE DREAMING.

well i already have a b18c1 jdm motor. was my brothers old one but its just sitting around in my house unused. and i have a b18b1 in my other car all stock. is there a difference in performance between the 2 engines besides c1 being gsr and vtec?

Just some advice, take the head off B18C1 to a machine shop, have them do a port and polish, get some aftermarket springs & retainers put in. maybe $450 parts & labor. Replace all gaskets, water pump & T-belt on the block. Sell your B18B1, Buy some Drop engine mounts $160, put in the B18C1 and drive that sh*t till the wheels fall off. FORGET THE B18B1

Re: B18b1 engine and LS tranny.
Just want to verify I'm straight on my swap please. 99 obd2a b1 into my 99 obd2b ex hatch. Its installed and just want to check the wiring. Have original harness from my car and the p75 I pulled with the motor. Am I straight? I know about lengthening the sensors and have the dizzy plug. I also have a 99 crv harness i was told will work, has anyone else heard of this? Do I need an a to b jumper? Out of state working and would like to know so I can order one if needed and can finish when I get home. Thanks
