B18B1 auto swap into EJ civic
Hi all. So I swapped in an automatic OBDII B18B1 from 2000 LS teg into automatic 1995 civic 3 door DX. Of course, it shifts like garbage because I never spliced in the TCM. My question is this: how practical/possible is it to swap in the entire wiring harness from the Integra, including most or all of the harness that runs from the engine bay into the interior, rather than just trying to put in the TCM? I was thinking that if I transfer the entire system over, I won't have to sweat it with schematics and stuff... just swap in all the wiring, and presumably plug it into all the accessories and components already on the civic.
I have an OBDI ecu from 94 teg that I can use to simplify things like delete the second 02 sensor and the carbon cannister shut off valve.
So, is this kind of thing done or is it crazy? Am I better off just wiring in the TCM? If so, where is the best place to source the wiring schematics?
Thanks in advance.
ps I am well aware that it would be infinitely easier to swap in a manual transmission even at this late stage. Not gonna happen. So I just need to know how to move forward at this point and complete the auto swap.
