b18b into 1998 crv, crank position sensor code (no signal)
I checked the sensor and it was within spec 375ohms, would it be the wiring? I dont see any issues.
do I replace the Ignition control module in the distributor or get a new dizzy or look for wiring issues?
thanks

I'm not sure if you did this yet but you should use the b20 distributor and use the stock b20 crank sensor that located by the crank pulley, or you can wire up the crv crank sensor harness up to the trigger wheel in the stock ls distributor that is odb2

Re: b18b into 1998 crv, crank position sensor code (skellator_thoj)
Is the crank fluctuation sensor on the b20 different than the one on the b18b? and would this cause a crank position sensor code? If that is the case I can just splice a wire from the crank position sensor to the wire for the crank fluctuation sensor and the ecu will always think everything is good.. but i dont think that is what is causing the code.

your b18 doesn't have that sensor at all located on the crank gear, all you have to do is put the obd2 b20 crank gear and sensor on you b18
