Default b18b and b20z cams, are they the same???

i thought that i read somewhere that the b18b and the b20z carry the same cam profile. i've got some ls cams and want to put them in my b20b for a few extra hp if they are the same as the z cams. any input is appreciated! thanks!

They're pretty much the same thing.... like when people say they want to use GSR cams in their stock B16 because it's "better" than SiR cams, but it's the same thing until you go Type R. Don't waste your time swapping out the LS/B20 cams unless you're going to do some aftermarket cams like Crower... then you'll notice more of a difference.

I herd that the only difference besiedes the wiring in the 91 and 92 tegs is the cams, thats why it has 10 more hp. Someone have the specs?

1992-2000 B16A cams are the same as GSR cams. But not 1988-1991 B16A cams.

You know if there is any noticable difference with 1st gen B16 cams upgraded to 2nd Gen or GSR cams?

Friend of mine is looking to upgrade to jdm gsr cams for now until he gets some mean *** cams. Think it's worth it?

Incorrect. As shown below:

Following cam measured with 0mm of lift:
Civic Si(1999 Spec)
Int-265 dur. / 10.5mm lift
Exh-267 dur. / 9.6mm lift

Integra GS-R
Int-274 dur. / 10.7mm lift
Exh-276 dur. / 9.6mm lift

Quite a bit of difference. I noticed it when I swapped out the Si cams for GSR cams in my 99 Si.

I don't know them off the top of my head, but I can tell you there is more lift in the 92 cam. I mic'd the old and new cam. I swapped out the intake cam on my 90 teg for a 92 intake cam. Didn't notice ****, but it was worth a shot.
