B18b in 2000 civic ex no start
I have a 99 b18b in my 2000 civic ex. Tried to start it up for the first time and it cranks when i turn the key but wont start. Im almost positive that its not getting fuel but i dont know why. All fuses are good but it could be a relay. Im not sure what relays to check. Also a few sensors are not hooked up yet including the one on the factory airbox piping, ckf sensor and o2 sensor. Also there is no ground coming off of the starter should there be a ground from starter to chassis? |

When you turn the key to the second position, do you hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds?

Also there is no ground coming off of the starter should there be a ground from starter to chassis? Ground from Valve Cover to radiator support. Ground from transmission to the chassis. What ecu you have plugged in? Main relay? Fuses good? Thermostat ground (already mentioned)? Double check over everything. Make sure when you turn the key forward once then twice you hear the fuel pump kick on. If not, that could be your issue right there. |
