Default B18a swap into LX...searched and still have mounting problems

hey guys, I've done a lot of research into this swap and were doing it on my buddies LX sedan. The swap is a b18a from a 93 integra with the stock tranny.
I followed the following chart to help out but it only complicates things.

1) we used the integra driver side mount and it fit in there perfectly without complications.

2) The chart says you can use the civic top tranny mount but it wont even bolt onto the b-series transmission. The only mount that bolts onto it is the STOCK b-series integra tranny mount.

With the driver side mount bolted...we can't get the tranny top mount to sit in the bolt hole to attach it to the chassis because it passes the holes by 1/2"

3) For the rear mount...we used the civic cross memeber rubber mount but the bracket from the integra nor civic wont work. For this we need to use a 94+ integra rear bracket correct???

*I've searched this before but the info posted isn't all that acurate so can somebody please that has done this swap and know what we need please post up

thanks

what year car is the swap going into? because if its going into a 92 up civic which are hydrolic clutches and the transmission is cable you need to get the hydro to cable conversion from hasport to make it work.

The car is a 93civic LX that had a d16z6.
The motor/tranny is a stock 93 setup with cable transmission.

We are mainly having problems with mounting it and having it sit properly

Update

Well here is a corrective update for the swap of putting a b18a into a 92-95 civic(we did it on an LX)

1) The mounts you DO NEED are 1994+ Driver side engine bracket and mount

2) The rear bracket needs to be from a 94+ integra. The mount for the rear can be used from the civic/integra also.

3) The top tranny mount we used is the 90-93 integra mount and also the 94+ teg mount works. Whoever said you can use a civic mount has never done this swap.

4) If you want to run the stock LS cable tranny, you will need to switch the VSS sensor from the hydraulic transmission to the cable tranny. Basically it's 1- 10mm or 12mm bolt holding it in. Once you undo the bolt you can take the VSS mechanism out and put it into the cable transmission.

5) The stock 90-93 Integra shift linkage works properly but sits about 1 inch farther away then the stock civic so you can deal with it or get the shift linkage extended.

6) You can install the stock cable clutch pedal but it does require a bit of work...nothing very hard and impossible.

7) You can use the 90-93 Integra gas pedal linkage

***
We tried to do this swap using as much stock civic mounts as we could(owner of the car neglected to get the proper mounts on time) so we had to try to see what we could do.

using the driver side 92 integra mound and the integra top tranny mount the motor sat in there but on an angle and a bit off so the mounts required NEED to be purchased in order for the motor to sit properly

I will update this thread in the next few days after all the final bugs are worked out with the swap and will update everybody of any changes.
