Do you want to convert to OBD2 because you think it's necessary or for emissions reasons? It would be much easier and better if you use an OBD1 P72 GSR ECU which is plug and play. If you have the 97 GSR engine harness you can use all of the OBD2 engine components without any rewiring and simply run the complete OBD2 motor with an OBD1 ECU.

Street price for a unmodded 94-95 P72 is usually around $200. They are getting harder to come by, but you can always check Ebay. Watch for the scammers on there though, lots of scammers in the ECU/ECU ship business nowadays.

What if I rechipped my 95 Si ECU? Program it with the a skunk or a mugen chip? Would that work?
