Default b16tranny-b18c block?

I have a 98civic ex with a b16sir2 motor swap. I have decided its time for another swap a b18c gsr motor. I know i can still use my tranny but what the hell is the difference b/w the gsr tranny and the b16 tranny? will i be losing any power if i continued to use the b16tranny on the b18blcok? And oh yeah i recently bought a skunk p28obd1 ecu and a obd2 to obd1 conversion kit, Would this be good for the b18 block i think it has like a 9600 redline and 5k vtec rpm engagement. thank you

hmm....you wont have any power loss. from using the b16 tranny...you could use the chipped ecu but do you have dual springs in your head cuz if not you'll probly float a valve....you will probly wanna change that...oh and the b16 trannys gear ratios are closer than the gsr ones

the gsr tranny has longer gears, the b16 tranny has shorter gears. If you do alot of highway driving go with the gsr or ls tranny
