b16a2 swap in ek hatch. temp gauge doesnt work?

I recently swap an b16a2 in my 96 ek hatch. my temp gauge doesn't fully go to the middle after the car is warm up? any help to this? It just go over the first bar line by a little and it will stay there.

the temp gauge on hondas never go to the middle, its always below at normal operating temp

I'm having the same issues here. Try switching out to a new cluster. I haven't had a donor to try. Check t-stat and sensor(1 wire) below the the distributor.
