b16a2 into 1999 Civic EX Coupe
What would it take to swap a 99+ B16a2 into my 1999 Civic Ex Coupe...I need to know what motor mount kit, if any, are required. Also, if anything would have to be changed concerning the shift linkage?
Thanks guys!!! Going to the state ref in about 2 months!!! Need to make my car legal! (h22 turbo setup (OBD1) right now).

Re: b16a2 into 1999 Civic EX Coupe (teameracer3)
depending on where you purchase your swap the only other thing i can think of that doesnt come with some swaps are axles. And I think B16a2s come with a OBD1 so u can use a wire harness convertion to OBD1 if you want i guess if you want to stay with OBD1

this guy is wrong....
b16a2= '99-00 SI motor obd2
b16a3= '94-97 del sol vtec obd1
b16a= jdm civic,crx,integra the 1st gen are 88-91 i believe and are obd0 and the 2nd gen are 92+ and are obd1
to do this swap you will need b16a2 motor and tranny,ecu,axles and intermed shaft,shift linkage, HAsport b series mount kit, minor **** here and there and there will be some wiring that has to be done. less wiring is necessary if u use a 96+ EX harness. thats it off the top of my head. there is a sticky here in this section which has a link to a ton of swap guides. use them
