b16a2 block with what head?
guys am having a problem.....i searched and found many answers here and there, but the thing is i got confused now....lol....anyway i bought a b16a2 block to get rebuild and i have a 99 civic hatch (so i know its OBD2), but which is the best from these two choices :
1- OBD2 head ---> OBD2 wiring ---> OBD2toOBD1 jumper ---> OBD1 ECU
or
2- OBD2 head ---> OBD2 wiring ---> OBD2 ECU
or
3- OBD1 head ---> OBD1 wiring ---> OBD1 ECU
am thinking of using either the OBD1 or OBD2 AEM EMS, please let me know which i should go for and why? and why the others aint good?

Either obd1 or obd2 head will work for you.The AEM EMS is the same unit ,its just the connector that is different.If you buy the obd2 unit it will plug right in with out an adapter harness.

so do think going with choice 2 is the best cause AEM is OBD2 or OBD1 and fitting a OBD2 head that has low milages....saving money here is important too...and i dont want to make it complicated!

The AEM EMS will not be your cheapest solution.I may be wrong but I don't believe there is any difference between obd1 & 2 heads.Uberdata will do what the AEM will if this is just a swap.And aside from chipping an ecu, it is free.You will need a obd1 vtec ecu,most people use a p28,and a obd1 to obd2 connector. http://www.pgmfi.org/

it is a swap being built at the same time for boost....well am consering these choices since when am out in the market to know which head to buy for this wiring reason or low milage reason? but definatly both i guess
well allot adviced me to go this route, which is using an OBD2 head since they lower milage then OBD1 heads and do it this:
OBD2 head converted to OBDI (thats dist and injector clips right?)----->OBD2 wiring---->OBD2toOBD1 jumper---->OBD1 ECU
does this sound good if i i wanna go OBD1?

The obd2 injectors can be reused. You can also use an obd2 dizzy while you're obd1. Get an obd2 dizzy since the correct plugs are already on your engine harness.
