b16a2 in 97 ex coupe with CEL code 9
Hi all, I just bought a 97 ex coupe with swapped b16a2 engine out of a 00 si. It looks like it has a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness with a chipped p28 running the engine. The check engine light is on and I am getting code 9. I've done some research and it seems this is a sensor in the distributor? I this normal due to the swap or is is something that needs to be fixed? Anyone else had a similar problem? Is the distributor different on the obd2 engine and its messing with the obd1 computer, if so how can I fix it? Thanks for any help.

I fixed my problem, it was the distributor. Bought a new one from ebay and that solved it. By the way, my engine is obd2 but I am running off a chipped obd 1 computer. Hope this helps.
