B16A2 in a 92 CX hatch, Whats up with my throttle cable?

I am trying to use the stock throttle cable from my hatch, do I need a SI throttle cable, or should mine work? I put a GSR in and had no problems, so I am confused on this. Anyone help or have what I need?
