b16a2 (92-95sir) v.s b18c /sorry so long/
is the b18 worth 1000.00 more. or will it be better to get the b16 and use the xtra cash to buy stuff? the motor is going into a 94 civic ex. im going to get a motor this week i just cannot decide which one will be best. i dont wanna be unsatisfied once evrything is in the car. me and my friends went to the 1/8th mile track here and i was getting killed. the other cars were a saturn wagon and a NX2000. i want to make sure the motor i get will do better than a 9.5 second 1/8th mile. because that was what the wagon runs. so he makes fun of hondas all the time

b18c1. the b16 has NO torque. i have a 94 ex too and its slow untill 6000rpm then it just slams when the vtec on my b16 turns on. youll be happier with the b18c motor.

Re: b16a2 (KAMiN)
just like he says, ive had to b16 hatches and they dont even come close to the tourqe of my friends crvtec. at 2k it seems as though his tourqe is equal to my peak torque.

I'd personally buy a B18B before getting a B16.
Depends on how much money you have I guess. If I were planning on going turbo, then I'd probably be looking at the B16.
