I want a reliable car...
This is one of my main concerns. I would like to know what the possibilities are for power vs. reliability.

I also need to know how high I can go on compression if I am going to put a turbo on. I was planning on upgraded innards and fuel anyhow, so just give me a bit of needed info.

10.0:1 is a good comp ratio for a street driven turbo b16a. i went 9.0:1 on my first setup (granted the turbo is quite large) and it really killed the low end power of the engine (not that it has any in the first place.) with a good fuel setup, that should be no problem. others might disagree... but that is from my personal experience.
