B16a differentials; cable vs. any other b-series
are the differentials in the cable transmission the same as the ones in the hydro's? i need to order a quaife today and need to know if they are the same size/dimensions and such; basically swappable without problems. thanks..

actually no they're not all the same.
You CAN put a Hydro 92-95 B16A LSD or diff. into any 92-93 DA YS1 transmission.
I'm not sure about the 90-91 JDM B16 trannies though.
You can't use a 96+ B16A (S4C) LSD or diff in any cable tranny because the diff/LSD is larger in diameter than the previous years. It's actually the same size as a US or JDM 94+ integra/ITR diff/LSD.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! i guess i'm stuck with one for a 94 and up... oh well. i'll find out soon.
