B16A automatic swap into 92 hatch... having problems with shift cable
Sorry Im kinda a nube here so please dont hurt my feelings too bad...
Dont know if this has already been threaded but doing a B16A automatic swap into a '92 Civic hatch. Got motor in with modification to mounts and a lil rewiring as well.
Motor starts with no problems, no codes being thrown or anything.
Ok so heres the problem... kept the stock 92 shift cable and having issues with shifting between stages. P, R, N, D all that. Notice that the stock cable is too long with the current setup.
Do I need to swap out the cable itself? Read somewhere that a TCM might fix the problem... okay nm about the TCM its only for newer models....
