Default b16a auto valve springs...junk?

I did a search and some people say that the valve springs in an auto b16a1 aren't as strong as in a manual. Is there any way to tell if there'd be trouble if I just used GSR cams (or even b16a2 cams) w/o changing the springs? Because if I have to change the springs...alot more is going to happen at the same time and I'd rather not spend the extra money/effort now.

Change them out when you do your cam swap... why?? I dont know specifically. My engine builder took those out & put in the manual ones for a reason.

ravermotorsports@earthlink.net if you want to find out "WHY?"

i think its because the auto springs were,'t designed for higher revs.....meaning the manual springs are stronger for higher revs.
