Default b16a/92 civic

Is there a website or something that basically gives an entire rundown of stuff needed for this swap? I did a search, but it would've taken me forever to peice together all the info. Just a link to a website or something would be awesome. Thanks

Nope. There is no one website because every swap is different. Everyone here who has done a swap has done the work looking it up so you have to do the same. Your not getting off that easy

Search through the Hybrid and EG forum for b16 threads and you'll find lots of info.

All of my time has been eaten up by an h22/3g prelude swap. This is for a friend who's totally new to honda's (cars period). So, yes, your right. I was looking for the easy way out

Thanks for pointing me to the right place though.

Well depending on what tranny setup you are going to run cable w/ conversion kit or Hydraulic will play as a factor, and weather your b16a is obd1 (pre 96) or obd 2 (96 and up)
The basic swap will need
Motor of course complete with everything on it accessories .. dist, alter, starter etc.
Tranny >b series, with axels
Delsol b16a , 94-00 gsr / itr/ 98-00si shiftlinkage and engine mounts /w civic 92 rubber portion
If you have a 92 hatch.. and it is honda of canada.. then you already have the wires for vtec and will need to add a knock sensor wire only.
Ecu, wiring if applicable
header, 2 1/4 catalytic converter.
Throtle cable from 00 si, fuel line from the b series to connect to the 92 civics' stock fuel filter.. (special banjo fitting on B series. / stock civic line won't permit correct fuel flow!
Upgrade to Del sol Dual core unit by Koyo! for around 110 at radiators.com it is half length but thicker than stock 92 civic one.. not necessary but wise.. and del sol radiator hoses are a must from the dohc vtec b16a model.
Strongly suggest doing Water pump. timing belt and thermostat.. Have a qualified mechanic check your timing tensioner.. at the very least.. to save you headaces down the road.. I think that is about all
