b16/R oil?...
ok, so i have a 91' SIR B16A block and a 97' CTR head...
the block as alota miles on it and the head doesn't...but the head needs a lostmotion assimbly, so 2 of the 8 lost motion's "tick"...i was told to use thicker oil w/ cars w/ alota miles...
10W-30 is too thin, and Mobil 1 doesn't make 10W-40...so is 15W-50 ok to use on my set up?
im also useing a OEM honda oil filter.

first off, as an experienced lube tech, i would not suggest synthetic oil on an engine with a lot of miles, therefore if conventional 10W40 works then go for that.
