B16 into 86 CRX, axle question
I have searched, hunted and called everyone I know. Do you have to buy DSS or Hasport axles for this swap or can they be pieced together?
Also, to the people with experience concerning this swap, should we be concerned with the axle placement if this car is to make moderate power?

Re: B16 into 86 CRX, axle question (AutoLab)
i wouldn't piece them together, i think its worth spending money on axles . Ive wrecked enuff remanufactured axles even tho you cant complain at 50$ an axle

Re: B16 into 86 CRX, axle question (thatbluecrx)
thanks man, any other ideas?
basically what I want to know is....Ive been told from these places that the actual shaft itself is custom (eg not a Honda piece). If this is true then sure we'll spend the money and just get hasport axles. But if its something we can piece together we will.
Thanks for any other input

buy the hasport axles. but if you plan on making any kind of power with a b-series into an early crx chassis, buy the DSS axles. well worth it and the last ones you will ever have.
