Default b16 idle surge

My buddy has a b16a1 in his CRX and the idle has been really high lately. Like 2500, and it surges up and down. Could u guys point me in the right direction? What should i look for?

Check for vacum leaks, make sure all the vacum ports you're not using are plugged. Also are you throwing any codes, might be your iacv.
