B16 in EG coupe, high idle question
I'm typing this for a friend of mine. He recently swapped in an OBD1 B16 in his EG coupe. He's running off his stock P28 ECU. The car runs good other than it idles at around 1200-1300 rpms. If he runs it fairly hard and then stops, it'll idle as high as 2000 rpms for a while until he hits the gas once or twice. This is his first swap. Any ideas where to look?

Re: (Flite)
yea, kinda common. sometimes the throttle cable is too tight and keeps the throttle open a bit. check it out and go from there carb cleaner will do

Ok, I just talked to him. Apparently he cleaned out the t/b with carb cleaner and ran it with the cable completely disconnected. I guess it still does it. Any other ideas? Vacuum leak somewhere maybe??
