B16 Distributor on B18C1?

Hiya Guys

It appears that i have a B16 Distributor given to me when i purchased by B18c1 (dizzy code TD-44U)

Will this be compatible with by B18c1 or will the timing be vastly off?

You will not have any problem running a b16 dist on a b18c (and vice versa).

as long as your car is obd1 or your plugs are identical, the distributors are exactly the same. td-68u and td-44u are interchangeable

Ah. Forgot to mention that. Yeah as long as they are both the same OBD, then they are the same.

I also had the same question as the OP

Why is it that they use different size caps if they are interchangeable? There has to be some reason for it dont you think ?
