ok i may be completly wrong with this but. my thoughts are that if i swapped an ls motor into my civic it should be as fast as it was with my b16a2. when i still had the b16 i raced my bros 97ls teg. the only mods he had were a gsr tranny w lightened flywheel, 2.5" dc sport 4-1 test pipe, intake and pullies. my car had cai, apex n1 exhaust, dc sports 4-1 header. when we ran we were just about even every time. my thoughts are since the ls makes 20hp less then the b16 but 20ft/lb more torque. that the torque made up for the lack of hp. so what do you think?
