If someone actually achieves it and you are able to rev to 8500 or 9000 rpms then I would say yes. It will however be very expensive from what I have read.

Shifting at 8500-9000 rpm's has been a problem in three out of three h22's I've ridden in. I've read a lot about others with the same problem too.

How much would an Euro R trans for for now and days? and would this trans be prone to scratching in the upper rev bands?

ya it's an f22 w/ a D series tranny...i believe that Bisi makes adapters for the D series trans to fit on an h22. D series have lots of gearing options, and good availablity.

Bisi has one of the fastest all motor rides out there...f22 on methanol runs 10.0's...i've heard that he went 9.80's during test and tuning runs.

Re: B tranny to H22... (kwik93si)
What I want to know is how much drilling is involved, because the D-Bseries trannies don't bolt to the H22. Or am I wrong. If it was SO easy why doesn't everyone get a H22 longblock and keep there **** without cutting holes for the shifter and cables.
As far as gearing goes a B series seems a better choice over a D. Does anyone have actual facts on this besides i think i saw and i heard bullshit...

Unlike my peers, I have never raced on methanol. I use Unocal 76 prostock 118...pure gasoline/petrol.
http://www.rsmachines.com has the D-series tranny-to-H/F motor plates. B-tranny adaptors should be perfected in 2 weeks.

I do have a d-series tranny mated to my F motor. I did it to simplify the swap. All I had manufactured were an adaptor plate, custom flywheel, alternator mount, and one (driverside) engine mount. The other mounts (on the tranny) are stock. I also use the factory transmission linkage and axle configurations.
As for b trannies being better, I have over 160 hard race passes, all under 10.3 ets, with the same D transmission. Please inquire on the volume of B series trannnies that have been destroyed during all motor drag racing.
